John Lacy

John Lacy serves as Chief People Officer at Confluent Health, bringing more than 25 years of HR leadership experience in healthcare and related industries. His career spans senior roles at Methodist Health System, Baptist Memorial, Baylor Scott & White, and Walmart’s healthcare division, where he specialized in recruitment, employee engagement, and building high-performing, collaborative cultures. 

Most recently, Lacy served as Chief Human Resources Officer for AmeriVet Veterinarian Partners, one of the nation’s largest veterinary groups. Under his leadership, organizations have consistently earned recognition as local and national “Best Places to Work” from outlets including The Business Journals, Glassdoor, the Great Place to Work Institute, and Fortune 100. 

Lacy is also highly experienced in implementing HR technology systems, business intelligence, and service teams, helping organizations strengthen retention, foster employee well-being, and scale effectively. At Confluent Health, he leads people strategy with a focus on attracting, engaging, and developing top talent to sustain a thriving culture.
