Jim Greenwood, a mission-driven executive in the healthcare services sector, brings a wealth of experience and a track record of success to his leadership roles. Known for his servant leadership, Jim has consistently driven transformative outcomes within private equity-backed healthcare organizations. His passion for mentoring young leaders has played a pivotal role in the remarkable achievements of various business models in highly competitive landscapes.

With a career spanning nearly 20 years at Concentra, where he held key positions such as Chief Encouragement Officer, CFO, and EVP of Corporate Development, Jim played a vital role in the company’s growth and success. During his tenure, the organization completed an IPO along with over 150 acquisitions and joint ventures, growing the medical group from 30 to more than 1,000 affiliated physicians before being acquired by Humana in December 2010.

After spending two years with Humana, Jim was recruited to the CEO post at Vision Source in 2013. Vision Source is the nation’s largest network of private practice optometrists with more than 3,000 locations and 16 million annual patient visits. Jim oversaw the seamless transfer of ownership to Essilor-Luxottica, solidifying Vision Source’s position as a leading franchise business supporting optometrists nationwide.

In 2019, as Executive Chairman with Webster Equity Partners, Jim spearheaded the launch and growth of Retina Consultants of America (RCA). From five initial groups that formed the foundation beginning in January 2020, RCA has become an elite national network of retina practices that provide exceptional care and are at the forefront of research and clinical trials. RCA was acquired by Cencora, Inc. for $4.6 billion in early 2025.

Beyond his executive duties, Jim serves on the boards of various health services organizations, focusing on diverse healthcare sectors such as dermatology, pediatric home care, cardiology, behavioral health, and primary care, among others. A Baylor University alum and a certified public accountant, Jim also contributes to Baylor’s Healthcare MBA Program as an advisor.

With a strong family foundation, Jim is happily married to Debbie and takes pride in his children and grandchildren.
