Annie Jamieson

Annie Jamieson is a Communications executive known for capabilities in content strategy, culture and employee engagement, crisis communications, communication systems, and change management. The hallmarks of her career hinge around building and maturing communication capabilities for rapidly growing organizations and in change management communications – particularly large-scale technical launches and M&A relationships.

She is responsible for elevating the organization’s communication capabilities in a way that blends the heart of storytelling and the need for practical, easy-to-access information with advancements in tools and AI. She brings a wealth of experience in media, community, and investor relations and employee communications through a career that spans healthcare, retail, food industry, higher education, and government.

She previously held senior leadership positions in non-profit organizations, MedExpress (part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group) and Giant Eagle, where she built the communications and content development functions and teams from the ground up for organizations with 32,000+ employees. Her communication strategies have led to measurable ROI and high success rates in everything from the adoption of critical business initiatives to employee engagement.

Annie is passionate about building empowered, creative teams of Communications professionals. Together, the team is creating effective, memorable communications that translate Confluent Health’s goals, culture, and initiatives to employees, partners, and stakeholders. In her position, she helps elevate the visibility (inside and out) of Confluent Health’s vital role in the community as the nation’s leading network of musculoskeletal services.

Annie holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Journalism from Allegheny College and a Masters in Professional Communication and Design from Carnegie Mellon University. She is a graduate of Leadership Pittsburgh, and UnitedHealth Group’s Emerging Leader and Executive Development Programs.
