Pete Carino is the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Confluent Health where his strategic leadership and industry expertise drives the company’s commercial growth and market expansion. With more than 25 years of experience leading top-performing global organizations, Pete brings a track record of building high-functioning teams, penetrating new markets, and delivering innovative solutions across the healthcare industry.
Since joining Confluent Health in February 2022, Pete has held several key roles, including serving as CXCO for Fit For Work, WorkSTEPS, and IAA, members of the Confluent Health Family. In this role, Pete was instrumental in developing and scaling a high-performing Sales and Marketing team, driving revenue growth and positioning these organizations as leaders in the occupational health space.
Pete’s extensive industry experience includes serving as CCO at PaceMate where he led the commercialization of a cardiac-focused SaaS digital technology solution, spearheading capital raises and navigating the company through a period of hyper-growth. Prior to that, Pete held leadership roles at iRhythm Technologies, Integrated Healing Technologies, Molnlycke Healthcare, BrainLAB, Intuitive Surgical, Stereotaxis, and GE Healthcare.
Pete holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton and completed the Global Strategy Leadership and General Management Program at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Pete remains dedicated to community service, actively supporting charitable organizations including the Ronald McDonald House, Wounded Warrior Project, and Operation Finally Home, reflecting his commitment to making a positive impact beyond the workplace.
