As Confluent Health continues to expand its national footprint, Somrock will play a key role in advancing the organization’s long-term growth strategy. He will lead payer contracting, reimbursement strategy, health system partnerships, and network development efforts focused on creating sustainable value for patients, providers, employers, and payers. His leadership will help accelerate value-based care opportunities, optimize partnership performance, and support Confluent Health’s mission to deliver high-quality, accessible musculoskeletal care at scale.
Jason brings more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience. Most recently, he served as Chief Commercial Officer within a portfolio of privately held technology-enabled healthcare service organizations focused on delivering value to providers, health plans, Accountable Care Organizations, and integrated health systems.
He spent nearly two decades with UnitedHealth Group, where he began his career within the organization’s corporate development team, supporting merger and acquisition activity and strategic enterprise transactions across the business. He later went on to lead and manage large national provider relationships and strategic initiatives across both UnitedHealthcare and OptumRx.
